Articulation Agreement by Major
Effective during the 01-02 And 02-03 Academic Years
Based on the 01-02 UC Transfer Course Agreement
====BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES====
Preference will be given to junior-level applicants with the highest grades
overall and who have satisfactorily completed: one year of general chemistry
(with laboratory). 06/20/02
The School of Biological Sciences requires all majors to complete Humanities
1A-B-C or an approved alternative. Transfer students may fulfill the
requirement by completing:
1) one year of English composition, and
2) two transferable three-unit semester courses (or three four-unit
quarter unit courses) chosen from English literature, history,
humanities, or philosophy (excluding logic).
Note: Once enrolled at UCI, School of Biological Sciences majors may take
only UCI courses to satisfy major requirements, including the Humanities
requirement described above.
